OUR MISSION
Solace Virtual Series: The Caribbean American Cultural Arts Foundation is dedicated to disaster relief efforts including hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have started a campaign to connect the community to resources such as mental health professionals, financial advisors, and government officials, to assist their needs. Solace Series is a refuge for the global community to be inspired, engaged, and informed in a relaxed environment, inspired by a tropical vacation setting. The applied and musical artist that we feature celebrate the rich diversity of the Caribbean American diaspora.
Our program includes feeding first responders, youth art therapy educational engagement, a virtual series connecting information, and artistic content for the community to enjoy during this difficult time. Caribbean American Cultural Arts Foundation plans long term efforts that offer support and impact change for generations.
SOLACE is defined as comfort or consolation in a time of distress or sadness, thus C.A.C.A.F. plan to offer this artistic programming as a getaway for the community. Our efforts are supported by the City of Atlanta-Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs.
